What is Hearthly?
Hearthly is a reusable freezer storage box made for sliced homemade sourdough. It keeps slices separated, organized, and easy to grab straight from the freezer.
What is the Hearthly Bread Box made of?
The Hearthly Bread Box is made from flexible, LFGB grade food contact silicone, designed for freezer storage and everyday use. It was created to help keep sliced sourdough separated, protected, and easy to grab without relying on single use plastic bags.
Why LFGB grade silicone?
LFGB is a German food safety standard for materials that come into contact with food. It is widely regarded as a more stringent standard than basic FDA food grade requirements for silicone.
We chose LFGB grade silicone because the Hearthly Bread Box is designed to hold bread directly, and we wanted a material that felt thoughtfully chosen for repeated food storage. It is durable, flexible, freezer friendly, and made for everyday use, so storing homemade bread can feel as intentional as baking it.
How does it work?
Once your loaf is fully cooled and sliced, place each slice into its own slot, close the lid, and store the box in the freezer. When you want bread, simply take out one slice at a time.
How many slices does it hold?
Hearthly has 11 individual slots and is designed to hold 11 slices of sourdough.
Is it only for sourdough?
It was designed with homemade sourdough in mind, but it can also be used for other sliced breads that fit comfortably inside.
Does it replace plastic freezer bags?
Yes. Hearthly gives you a reusable, organized way to freeze sliced bread without single use plastic bags or a multi step freezing routine.
Is Hearthly freezer safe?

Is Hearthly dishwasher safe?
Yes, Hearthly is dishwasher safe.
How do I clean it?
Hearthly can be washed by hand with warm soapy water or placed in the dishwasher. Make sure it is fully dry before storing.

Can I return it?
Because Hearthly is a food contact product, all sales are final. If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos, and we’ll make it right.
